Privileged In Poverty was built from a different understanding of what it means to be privileged.

Growing up in the hood, we didn’t have everything—but we never went without. Raised by a hardworking mother who hustled to provide for five children, with a stepfather who helped hold the family down, we learned early that privilege isn’t always about having the most money or coming from the perfect circumstances. Sometimes, privilege is having people who sacrifice to make sure you’re good, even when resources are limited. That experience became Privileged In Poverty.

Our clothing represents the mindset of recognizing what you have while refusing to let where you come from determine where you’re going. Every piece is rooted in faith, discipline, perspective, progress, and overcoming adversity.

We create premium streetwear for people who came from something, survived something, and are building toward something greater.
